![]() ![]() The only way to learn about the name of the cities is through conversation and guess work. Quite frankly, why can't they show the name of the city I am in. Then there is the issue of names of places. of course thanks to gamefaqs, such an issue isn't much of a problem, but it does not address the issue of being lost period. It makes it so easy to get lost and confused on where one is going. The problem is that every texture of wall looks the damn same. However, this is the few games that affectively made exploring a maze a key point. No MapsIt was fairly normal at the time for games not have maps. It lacks a lot of depth considering the multiple layers of srategies that is found in Final Fantasy. Your character sprites are not displayed anywhere in the game. You can't select the type of classes your characters are. Battles are fought against one type of monster. In combat, you can't choose which enemy you want to target. Combat Strangely, I love grinding away in Phantasy Star. There all sorts of features that make Final Fantasy obviously superior to Phantasy Star. However, I feel my love for Phantasy Star is weird. Let's cut to the chase, I am having a far better time playing Phantasy Star for the first then playing final fantasy now. Now with my Wii and the release of Phantasy Star for the virtual console, I decided to pick up and play this game. I was such as a Squaresoft fanboy back in those days. ![]() Growing up as a kid, I have never played the Phantasy Star series. ![]()
